Your tasks

What you do

  • Independent management of day-to-day financial accounting
  • Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns
  • Preparation and execution of payment transactions
  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments and managing the dunning process
  • Account reconciliation and maintenance
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Creating management reports and supporting project controlling
  • Assisting with liquidity planning and cost control
  • Point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities
  • Contributing to the optimization and digitalization of accounting and administrative processes
  • Close collaboration with management and project leads

Your profile

What do you bring

  • Completed commercial training, for example as a tax clerk (m/f/d), financial accountant (m/f/d), balance sheet accountant (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Sound knowledge of commercial and tax law as well as the preparation of VAT returns
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Analytical thinking skills and a structured, meticulous, and independent way of working
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
  • Teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
